This week, we’re sharing some DIY ideas for creating cupcakes from scratch in a home decor shop.
You’ll need: 1 cupcake pan (3-4″) 1 cupcakes (1-2 lbs) 1 cake decorating brush (or other decorating tool) 1 paper towel (or paper towel towel towel) 1 piece of duct tape (optional) 1 decorative cupcake stand (optional, but a good idea) 1 bowl of frosting (optional and you can also make frosting from scratch, but we’re not going to do that) 1 plastic bag (optional but useful) 1 baking sheet (optional if you’re using a regular cake pan) A large bowl (for scooping) (optional!)
Instructions In a large bowl, mix together the 1 cupcakes and 1 cup of the cupcake decoration brush.
(You may also use the cupcakes for decoration if you’d like to make cupcakes with a different flavor.)
Then, use a paper towel or other decorator to fill a small bowl with the batter.
Pour the batter into the cup cake pan, then cover with the paper towel.
Bake the cup cakes for 30 minutes.
Allow them to cool completely, then remove the paper towels from the bowl.
(This is important, so the cupcakes don’t burn.)
Using a cupcake brush, shape the cupcaes using a flat surface and let them cool completely before decorating them with frosting.
Repeat the same process for the other cupcake pieces.
Use a decorative cup cake stand to decorate them with a frosting if you wish.
Let the cupaes set at room temperature for at least an hour before you decorate with frosted cupcakes.
